There was nothing that was going to stop Chris and Crissy from getting married.  Yes, there were road blocks along the way but they would not be deterred.  Chris proposed to Crissy on the top of Sugar Mountain, North Carolina, during a skiing trip.  They set a wedding date and commenced to look for a reception venue.

Their first reception venue did not work out and then closed.  Their second reception venue burned and was beyond repair.  They then looked at Palafox Wharf while it still was under construction and renovations.  They thought Palafox Wharf looked awesome.  You know three is the charm and they choose to have their reception at Palafox Wharf.
PW's Real Brides - Crissy
The next hurdle was Crissy's bridal gown which arrived with the wrong proportions and had to be remade.

Finally, their ceremony site was to be at Bartram Park.  Of course, one-half hour prior to their ceremony, the rain poured down.  So, no park ceremony.

No problem.  Don't worry,  Fiore came to the rescue.  Fiore set up Crissy's and Chris' trellis inside Palafox Wharf against the copper walls and James Nixon, a friend, officiated the ceremony.  Crissy wore a beautiful white silk satin sleeveless gown with a sweetheart neckline.  Her gown sparkled with beaded jewels under the bodice and had a mermaid skirt to the floor.  Crissy's wedding gown was made super special with a stunning sash tied in an Obi knot on the back of her gown. Crissy carried a wonderful wedding bouquet made of pink peonies, roses, orchids, and hydrangeas with studded pearls, wrapped in pink ribbon.
The Bride's Maids wear strawberry-pink dresses.  The Groom wore a pink paisley tie.  The Groom's men wore lime green ties.  Lime green and pretty petal pink flowers, and favors accented Crissy and Chris' mid-July wedding. The last minute change for the ceremony did not stop Crissy, Chris, and their guests and they preceded to have a fun filled evening reception.

At their Reception, Crissy and Chris sat at a sweetheart table and placed their family and wedding party in surrounding larger round tables.  Crissy's family and Fiore decorated their sweetheart table with floating candles, centerpieces with florals, and champagne glasses.  Mr. and Mrs. signs were placed on the Bride's and Groom's chairs.  Professional Photographer, Michelle and her staff, of O E I L Photography captured precious moments during the ceremony and reception.  Paper Chinese lanterns in light green and light pink were hung over the dance floor.  Crissy and her Mom made a wonderful Candy Station which everyone enjoyed.  They danced away into the night to the fantastic music played by The Astronauts.
