The Proposal
Dylan proposed to Sara on her birthday. He prepared her a lovely birthday dinner at his house. During dinner, Sara noticed Dylan was drinking his glass of wine just a little too fast, but at the time thought nothing of it. After dinner Dylan told Sara it was time to open her gifts. He had her sit in a chair next to the fireplace in the living room. Dylan told her that one of the gifts was too large and awkward for him to wrap so that would be the one she would open last. He brought in the first gift, then the second, and on the third one he told her to stand up, turn around, and close her eyes.
(Sara thought she was getting a puppy!) He then told her she could turn around and open her eyes. Dylan was down on one knee with the ring box open. Sara was so surprised and so happy that the only words she heard come out of his mouth during his proposal were "Will you marry me?"

The couple set the date for May 15, which is Dylan's parent's wedding anniversary. The wedding ceremony was held at First Baptist Church of Pensacola, where Sara's parents were married. It was very important to Dylan and Sara that they incorporate these special family details. Palafox Wharf was the ideal reception venue since it was right down the street from the church.  They felt that their wedding and reception was wonderful! Everything Sara could ever imagine! The venue was absolutely perfect, All of their guests were very complimentary of how beautiful everything was. The Wharf really didn't need much decorating, it's such a beautiful building! Sara, Dylan, and their guests enjoyed a beautiful spring sunset from the outside deck and continued to party the night away!
